Comparaison des effets de la micropesanteur d'un vol spatial sur l'os du massif cranio-facial, le squelette et les dents : une revue systématique

Abstract : The aim of this systematic review of litterature was to compare the effects of the microgravity during a spaceflight on the craniofacial bone to the effects on the others bone of the skeleton and identify similar effects or not. The other aim was to identify the effects of the microgravity on teeth. We searched in the data base MedLine/PubMed and Scopus, according to the PRISMA criteria and selected 103 items. We studied bone and dental effects at different levels: macroscopic, cellular and molecular. Bone effects are different between the bones with a bone loss in the mandibule and a bone volume gain in the calvaria. Dental studies are very few and show contradictory results. This review doesn’t allow us to conclude on the dental effect of microgravity.
