Enseigner la littérature en FLE : analyse du rôle de l’enseignant passeur de lectures et médiateur culturel auprès d’apprenants adultes au CUEF

Abstract : Literary works may be used as pretexts to improve linguistic knowledge in the context of a language course, but in the lecture class of literature, it is literature itself that becomes the object of learning. And it is through the lens of the literary works being studied that learners of French as a foreign language are invited to take another look at the culture of the target language. Knowing the difficulty of reading literary works in French, the task of the teacher as a reader and cultural mediator is fundamental to making literary works more accessible and to developing the pleasure of reading: this particular pleasure that requires an understanding of text for FFL learners as for everyone. In this perspective, the teacher can provide them with the tools of literary analysis appropriate to the condition of learner of FFL.
