Comment mettre en place une démarche de gestion du risque. Exemple du risque de collision entre les engins et les piétons

Abstract : ArcelorMittal is an international company and it is metallurgy leader in the world. Its Fos-sur-Mer plant produces flat steel to make packaging, automotive, building and households appliances. This plant is composed by several plants in one over a 1600 hectares field. The subject of this report is « How can we set up a risk management approach? ». The chosen example is the collision risk between a vehicle and a pedestrian. In Fos-sur-Mer plant, more particularly in Fonte department, this risk is omnipresent. Legislative and regulatory framework deal with configuration of premises, prevention action, concurrent activities, employee obligation, training and information. To reduce this risk in order to comply with the law, this risk management action is divided into 7 steps: data collect and analysis, risk assessment and circulation plan, action plan establishment, action costing ask, action set up, multiyear plan and action effectiveness assessment. The approach is appreciated and the same work is made on nearby manufacturing unit within data collect and analysis, risk assessment and circulation plan and action plan establishment. In spite of difficulties encountered, first actions have been set up and will keep on progressively. First actions allowed to reduce risk level of collision risk between vehicles and pedestrian.
