Pratique de l'hypnose chez un patient en situation de handicap

Abstract : To ensure our patients’ well-being, hypnosis is a method which tend to spread in dental practices. The aim of this study is to present the possibilities to applicate medical hypnosis for patients with disabilities. It is a non-pharmacological behavioral method, without any risk for the patient and which be likely to facilitate its management, in situations where communication is at the heart of the care relationship. After a review of current knowledge, we will try to see how hypnosis can be adapted according to the type of disability encountered and see its application through clinical cases.
