Validation d’un outil d’information numérique concernant les directives anticipées destiné aux professionnels de santé : une étude de consensus par méthode Delphi

Abstract : The Leonetti Clayes law of February 2, 2016, gives GPs a central role in informing their patients about the system of advance directives. The lack of knowledge of this device by health professionals is a major obstacle to its development. We have created a digital information tool on advance directives for health professionals. The aim of this work is to get it validated scientifically by a group of multidisciplinary experts. A consensus search using the Delphi-Abaque roundtable method was implemented between May 2019 and August 2019, with 16 experts interviewed anonymously thanks to an online computer questionnaire via the LIMESURVEY © software. The questionnaire was made of 16 items organized in 3 parts: credibility, content and ergonomics. The favorable consensus was defined by at least 80% of positive answers for each item.14 experts were recruited: 4 general practitioners, 3 palliative care physicians, 1 geriatrician, 1 public health doctor, 2 coordination professionals, 1 graphic designer, 1 medical informatics professional, 1 association person in connection with the theme. At the end of 2 rounds, 15 of the 16 items retained a favorable consensus, this led to the scientific validation of the tool. This study highlights that a digital information tool can be useful in the practice of health professionals to promote the device of advance directives. A survey covering a larger population would be needed to look for changes in advance directive practices.
