Bilan de routine en médecine générale : quelles recommandations ? Enquête de pratique

Abstract : There are no recommendation to prescribe to asymptomatic patients routine blood tests in General Medicine. We have collected the prescribing habits of general practitioners for 50-year-old patients with no previous history of asking for a blood test, with a comparison between two regions, Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur and New Aquitaine.
Although the most prescribed examinations nevertheless allow practitioners to assess the cardiovascular risk, in the case of the same clinical situation, the biological examinations prescribed by general practitioners differ considerably.
The creation of a tool that groups together the risk factors that could influence the biologic test prescription would allow reassessing its content and relevance.
