Moucheture du blé dur : identification des facteurs et gestion du risque

Abstract : Blackpoint of the durum wheat cause a grain discoloration that has consequences on the quality of the appearance of the derivative wheat products, and their marketing. Even if blackpoint have always been the aim of many researches, causes have not been distinctly attributed to one specific condition. The goal of the current study is the identification of potential factors which could favor blackpoint. First the quality of the prediction of a blackpoint statistical modelling designed in 2013, have been tested on non-tested years (2013 to 2018). The prediction of the blackpoint model is not reliable this would mean that other factors that have not been integrate in the model have to be considered. Thus an additional approach of statistical analysis has been done to test if the effects of potential factors of blackpoint are significant or not. Results revealed that environmental conditions which promote blackpoint are high rainfall, low temperature and solar radiation. However the varietal sensitivity has more effect compared to the other factors. As regards to the results about fungi M.majus appears to be a significant factor in favor of the blackpoint development compared to the others (F.graminearum & M.majus). Conclusions of this study are in agreement with literature. Nevertheless a more accurate study on experiment with targeted treatment could confirm the obtained results with causal links.
