Identification de marqueurs associés à une résistance stable au mildiou de la pomme de terre par génétique d'association

Abstract : One of the most destructive disease for potato crop is late blight caused by an oomycete : Phytophthora infestans. Fungicides are massively used to fight against this pathogen, which contributes to the high treatment frequency index of this crop. The Ecophyto II plan aims at reducing the use of pesticides. The identification of quantitative genetic resistance, which is more stable, represents therefore a major issue. My internship subject is part of the PotStaR project whose purpose is to identify stable sources of resistance to the late blight and molecular markers linked to these stable resistance. My internship was about the development of a strategy of association mapping on a collection of improved breeding lines originating from research programs from INRA of Ploudaniel. The phenotypic data come from five trials and the genotypic data from the use of the 8303 SNP SolCAP array. First, a study of the population structure was performed. Then markers linked to late blight resistance have been identified. An analysis of linkage disequilibrium was carried out for the markers that are located in the same genomic region. The most stable QTL identifed in this sudy is located on chromosome 9.
