Développement conceptuel et mathématique d'un modèle de rendement de la vigne intégrant les contraintes biotiques et abiotiques

Abstract : Within the framework of the TraDevi project, the aim is to deepen and synthesize knowledge on the decline of the vine, which is a multi-factorial phenomenon. Biotic and abiotic constraints are among the factors that contribute to this phenomenon. We are thus seeking to improve a pre-existing "GrapePest" (Dagher, 2014) model of vine development: How to integrate the effects of water and nitrogen constraints and the effects of the most devastating vine pests (downy mildew, powdery mildew, budworm) to simulate yield losses at the vine stock level over a multiyear period? Based on the statistical analysis carried out on biotic and abiotic data and following a modelling approach, we have developed formalisms that simulate the effect of water and nitrogen on the production and allocation or distribution of carbon to the various organs (annual and perennial) and therefore on yield. The effect of pests and diseases is introduced into the model as a function of the AIDB, which is a synthetic indicator of severity (Fermaud et al., 2016). The actual dry biomass yield of the bunches is calculated as the difference between the yield achievable under the ideal conditions of our experiment and the losses due to the biotic and abiotic factors considered. GrapePest has limitations with regard to the calculation of allocation coefficients since the data do not allow it, but this work remains a first attempt to integrate the effect of the stresses suffered by vine growing. A model evaluation step is required to validate and extrapolate the model in the field.
