Diagnostic de l'éligibilité du territoire du Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne à répondre aux exigences internationales du label Ramsar

Abstract : Climate change have consequences in various areas such as water. An awareness of the importance of wetlants is paramount and can be done through different actions such as the Ramsar label. Thus, the goal of the mission is to analyze: how the territory of the Auvergne Volacanoes Regional Park can respond to the requirements of the label Ramsar? The ambitious perimeter proposed by the comity concerns the peatlants and lakes of Cézallier and Artense, which comprises 36 municipalities and 4 659 hectares of peat complex today. To respond at the requirements of the label, the candidate site must justify at least one of the nine criteria established by the Ramsar Convention. These criteria in majority have a very naturalistic entrance. A database for wetland-related taxa has been established. Heterogeneous data were collected from various organizations. That’s why, we conducted semi-directive workshops and interviews to justify these criteria. The site answer at 5 criteria. One is related to the representatives, rarity or uniqueness of the wetland, 3 criteria are relative to all species and the last one concern fish. But, for the project to be sustainable, it must be carried by local actors. An important work of awareness and information to integrate this candidature into the territory project has been realized.
