A l'appel des patients, les termes les mieux compris pour évaluer l'infection de la plaie étaient : y a-t-il du pus ou du liquide jaunâtre qui sort de la plaie ? Votre plaie a-t-elle une mauvaise odeur ? Ces questions pourraient être explicites sur la feuille de conseil remise aux patients pour leur permettre d'identifier l'apparition d'une complication et s'orienter vers leur médecin traitant ou les urgences.
