Ces émotions qui les submergent : les compétences émotionnelles des élèves au service des apprentissages et du vivre ensemble

Abstract : Children from 2 to 5 are not physiologically able to calmly accept their emotions and to master them. However, their first steps to school are a source of strong emotions. That's why they need adults to help them better accommodate these overwhelming emotions and offer them a reassuring environment. Helping them identify and express their emotions can therefore be the key to a calm class climate. Thanks to plenty of tools, a language sequence around emotions and a teaching posture of active listening, we will see how the emotional skills of children can be improved.
