La résistance aux antibiotiques des bactéries les plus communément rencontrées dans les infections communautaires état des lieux en 2019

Abstract : In 1928 the discovery of antibiotics, this new therapy was presented as a real revolution in the medical world, but quickly the bacteria presented resistances pushing science to discover new antibiotics and therefore new mechanisms that bacteria have not stopped to bypass. Today, antibiotic resistance is a topical issue but also has a high prevalence in terms of mortality and risk in the near future to become the leading global cause of mortality, dethroning cancer or heart disease. After having set the context and definitions of antibiotic therapy, this thesis will expose the causes and consequences of resistance, its impacts, but also the means of struggle currently present and those that can be in the near future. With regard to these means of struggle, it is appropriate that everyone can act, as we will see, by simple and easy gestures such as vaccination or by avoiding self-medication. Although this subject is often discussed and quite present publicly, a personal study presented in this thesis shows that it is essential to emphasize and recall the importance of the four B is: the right indication, the right molecule, the good duration and at the right dose.
