Du PRF à l'i-PRF, intérêts en implantologie

Abstract : The PRF : platelet-rich fibrin, was developped in 2001 by Dr Choukroun, in order to accelerate the bone healing. This platelet concentrate has interesting clinical vertues. On the other hand, its effectiveness remains controversial. The purpose of this work is to expose the potential uses of L-PRF and i-PRF in pro-implants treatments, their biological interests and their limitations. After remainding the bone tissue, hemostasis and fibrin, the second part presents the different indications of bone grafting. The third part presents the PRF in pro-implant practice with L-PRF and i-PRF. After describing their techniques of obtaining technique and each biological aspects, the last part deals with their different uses, results and limits. This work ends with illustrations from our clinical experience.
