Préservation des soins de proximité en milieu rural par la création de pôles de santé libéraux et ambulatoires : avis des patients sur le PSLA de Saint-Pierre-en-Auge

Abstract : The decrease in the medical density of general practitioners has been a public health issue for years. Rural areas are even more affected by the lack of a general practitioner. Many reforms have been undertaken to restructure and preserve the local healthcare offer, including the development of health centres. Tw years after the opening of the Abbey's health centre in Saint-Pierre-en-Auge, this thesis gathered the opinions of the patients consulting it. It is an observational, prospective, monocentric study, with a type of opinion survey. According to the results, patients perceive the centre as a positive element in the offer of care. They consider the centre attractive to doctors and help to improve collaborative work. This result, although not generalizable to the rural population, is encouraging for national and regional actors. Despite this, there are still some shortcomings in the cure offered to patients. Other measures, some of which are already effective, such as installation incentives, and others under development, such as telemedicine, are therefore necessary.
