Réalisation d'une campagne de prévention du tabagisme dans un centre psychiatrique en utilisant la technique du groupe nominal

Abstract : Introduction: In 2019, public mental health facilities remain places where smoking is difficult to control and where the marketing strategies of the tobacco industry are very effective. As part of a targeted prevention campaign, a study is conducted to produce a poster highlighting the fight against tobacco. Methods: A monocentric study on the psychiatric center of Alençon is carried out from May 3 to September 13, 2019. The consensus around the different components of the poster is obtained by the technique of the nominal group. The group was composed of 10 participants recruited in the center. Results: 10 participants including 4 patients, 2 doctors, 1 nurse manager and 3 nurses composed the group. On the poster produced, the main keyword chosen was "Released" and was associated with an explanatory paragraph on the weaning assistance proposed internally. The chosen illustration symbolized an isolation room, in opposition to the keyword. Conclusion: The nominal group allowed the start of a smoking prevention campaign adapted to the psychiatric population by the representativeness of the participants. This experience rounds off drug treatments while being associated with the basics of motivational interviewing and cognitivebehavioral therapies.
