Concordance des tests Ricci et Gagnon et IPAQ version courte dans la mesure de l’activité physique en médecine générale chez des patients à risque cardio-vasculaire en prévention primaire : étude réalisée de janvier à octobre 2017

Abstract : Objective: to compare concordance of physical activity (PA) evaluation conducted with short version of IPAQ test and test of Ricci and Gagnon in a population of patients with cardiovascular risk factors, in primary prevention, consulting in general practice. Method: longitudinal quantitative study by cohort follow up ancillary of an interventional study. Patients with hypertension and / or type 2 diabetes mellitus and / or hypercholesterolemia were included by general practitioners and received a written prescription of PA. The level of PA of patients and physician investigators was measured all long of the study by both short version of IPAQ and Ricci and Gagnon test. Results of the two tests were compared for the level of energy expenditure and the ranking of patients in PA's categories obtained with each test. Results: correlation between the two tests was weak with a Pearson's correlation coefficient of 0.293 and a correct concordance of patients ranking for only 38.5 % of them. However, seating spended time was strongly correlate for the two test. Conclusion: physicians should use IPAQ score which as been evaluated by many study in place of the Ricci and Gagnon test for which no validation study have been found and whom results are poorly concordant with the short version of IPAQ test. Creating a simple diagnosis tool for identify very actives patients would permit to optimize the PA prescription in general practice.
