La sensorialité dans l'accompagnement des personnes âgées démentes : intérêt de la prise en charge psychomotrice des troubles psycho-comportementaux

Abstract : Individual ageing is the source of significant changes in body, sensory, cognition and also psychological changes. To these may be added specific pathologies such as dementia, characterized by a degeneration of the central nervous system, which leads to memory, praxic, gnosis and / or language disorders. In this context, it is not uncommon to notice the presence of psycho-behavioral disorders (agitation, anxiety, aggression, etc.). What are the causes and consequences of psycho-behavioral disorders? How can the psychomotrician prevent and / or calm them? What is the place of sensoriality in supporting these disorders? In order to answer these questions, I will study in this thesis, through a theoretical and clinical reflection, the place and the interest of sensoriality in the support and the easing of behavioral disorders of seniors with dementia. I will use bath and therapeutic touch mediations in a sensory stimulation room to support and illustrate my point.
