Les composantes de la modélisation d’un projet de transport urbain : la spécificité de la Grande Région de Montréal

Abstract : The knowledge of the future mobility is an effective and essential way to optimize the transport services which are present on the territory. This document proposes, from the present knowledge of the modelling system developed in Montreal, to explain and improve the processes which measure the future mobility of greater Montreal. To do this, this paper presents the actors and their approaches and technical tools to analyze and understand, to visualize and illustrate, to describe and explain and to predict and define the major trends occurring on the territory of the Greater Montreal.
