Un je(u) désorganisé : l’importance du jeu et de l’imaginaire chez l’enfant violenté

Abstract : This dissertation recaps the different phenomena of violence as well as the concepts of ascendancy and of trauma associated with it. This is an essential prelude to consider the child as a victim and a witness of this violence and which is too often forgotten. After an analysis of the emotional, mind-body, and cognitive disruptions visible in the development and the way of playing of the child, this dissertation then explains the point of a psychomotor skills’ treatment in an emergency center. There is furthermore a need for a stable therapeutic environment which can give back some points of reference for these disorganized children. Finally, this dissertation will approach the difficulties and adjustments encountered in this play therapy in order to offer the best support to an abused child towards psychological resiliency.
