« Motricité en relation » : les enjeux de la construction de la relation en psychomotricité

Abstract : A request for psychomotor therapy care implies that the patient and close people, the parents, first meet the therapist. The latter must offer a favourable safe and open therapeutic environment where each one will participate to the support of the needs of the patient. Psychomotor therapy sessions not only demand a body and psychological engagement from the patient but also provide the opportunity and a space to communicate and share experiences. Sessions are co-created, where sharing relies on a dynamic fuelled by a privileged relationship and the subjectivity and reciprocity that goes with it.
