Éco-conception de bâtiment vinicole appliqué au chai de Celeyran

Abstract : At the beginning of the 20th century, buildings eco-design concept appeared in reponse of the global warming and the biodiversity loss due to human activity. The aim of eco-design is to create and restore building without impact on the earth. This concept can be applied on all constructions, that’s why we tried to apply this to the specificity of the wine cellar. In the construction environment, many points can be improved such as water and electricity consumption, used materials and buildings thermal efficiency. First, we decided to reflect about the winery effluent management. We find new technics to manage winery effluents. These new technics used phytopurification with bamboo or reeds. These technics use less electricity, smell better, and work all over the year. Bamboo plantations allow effluent management without export of water/sludge and planted bed of reeds on zeolithe permit to obtain a clean water who can be reused for irrigation in the future. Then, we used a software to model the impact of the construction technics on the evolution of temperatures in the cellar during the year (dynamic thermal simulation). That allow us to make important construction choices. Last but not least, we worked on the installation of solar panels next to a wine cellar. The aim of this installation is to produce half of the total electricity consumption of the building. We simulated the future electricity consumption of the cellar, the production of solar panels in the area of Narbonne and the size of the central needed. We observed that this cellar will need around 360 MWh by year and the optimal central for this site would be a central of 180 kWc.
