Abstract : Objective: The main objective of the study was to assess the prevalence of the prescription of homeopathy by midwives in Isère over the past twelve months. Method: Quantitative cross-sectional descriptive study within the department of Isère from June 12, 2020 to July 20, 2020. The study population consisted of midwives practising in the department of Isère and registered in the board of the departmental order of midwives of Isère. Data were collected through computerized and anonymous questionnaire sent by e-mail. The questionnaire consisted of five parts. Results: Among the 63 midwives included in the study, 79% had prescribed homeopathy over the past 12 months. Among the 50 midwives who had prescribed homeopathy, 30 had never attended homeopathy professional training. Conclusion: Homeopathy has an important place in midwifery prescriptions in obstetrical and gynecological care. But the rate of training in homeopathy remains low.
