Utilisation des AINS chez le coureur à pied, intérêts, inconvénients et rôle du pharmacien d'officine

Abstract : Running is a widespread physical practice in France and throughout the world. Each year, more than one in two runners faces an injury or pain during running. The therapeutic family of NSAIDs is very present and used, especially to relieve and treat these running-related injuries. If we know well the side effects of these molecules, the real benefits on the running-related injuries are unclear. For these reasons, their use made debate. The purpose of this thesis will be to report on the use of NSAIDs in runners, the relevance of their use for running-related injuries and the role of the pharmacist in ensuring the safety of the athlete and a proper use of medicine.
