La lecture partagée : une voie vers le plaisir de lire

Abstract : Throughout primary school, children develop their connection with the world of writing and gradually integrate the world of readers/writers. Learning to read occupies a large part of the teaching but is still mainly focused on technical aspects. However, the implementation of acculturation practices and the development of the pleasure of reading seem fundamental in the development of the link to the written word. We wanted to study the impact of a system that is detached from the technical constraints of reading: shared reading. The aim of our study was to determine whether this system could develop the pleasure of reading among students and change their posture as readers, particularly those who are farthest away from written culture. To do this, we set it up in the CM2 class, in a ritualized way and detached from the usual school constraints. The analysis of the students' behaviour and their investment in reading time, according to their reading profile, highlighted the pleasure they had in living their time. Some of them, usually not much readers, took an important place in the system and showed an unusual involvement.
