Le traitement de l'asthme et les nouvelles approches thérapeutiques de prise en charge

Abstract : Asthma is a chronic disease with 360 million people worldwide, according to the WHO. This pathology is encountered regardless of the level of development of the country and corresponds to a chronic inflammation of the bronchi. The root causes are still unclear, but the main risk factors appear to have been identified. There is no actual curative treatment for asthma, but an overall management combining drug and non-medicinal therapies helps to control the disease and thus ensure patients an adequate quality of life. Advances in scientific knowledge and disease confirm that multidisciplinary management is necessary. Today, there are many therapeutic avenues under study that are likely to provide new approaches to pathology, particularly through personalized medicine, desensitization and microbiota. Unfortunately, these tools are not intended to be curative, they will have the task of improving management by providing the best quality of life for those affected.
