Les empreintes corrigées en Prothèse Amovible Complète (P.A.C)

Abstract : In the treatment of total endentulousness by complete removable dentures, the different clinical stages of impression taking fundamentally condition the success of prosthetic treatment and thus the biological and psychological integration of dentures. The quality of the impressions as well as their precision to reflect the clinical and anatomical reality specific to each individual will allow us to best meet the requirements of prosthetic treatment, namely : maximum preservation of the alveolar ridge, fulfill the objectives of the Housset triad (retention, stabilization, support), restoration of aesthetic. The success of these impressions depends on the type of impression made and their goal, the impression material and the tray chosen, the clinical situation and the dexterity of the practitioner. In complex clinical situations where the quality of these impressions is not optimal, the contribution of complementary techniques therefore appears essential.
