Gestion d’intermédiaire de bridge antérieur par chirurgie plastique parodontale minimalement invasive : à propos d’un cas clinique original

Abstract : The absence of teeth in the anterior sector is very detrimental to the aesthetics of the smile and constitutes a real social problem. Several solutions for replacing the dental organ are available through removable prostheses, fixed prostheses (conventional and bonded) and implant-supported. Although considered optimal, implant rehabilitation cannot solve all cases of edentulism (medical, anatomical, financial reasons, ..). The dento-portal bridge therefore appears to be the solution of choice. However, the absence of a tooth (congenital or extractional) is associated with an osteo-mucosal defect that can alter the success of the treatment.Since the aesthetic integration of a bridge is mainly based on the maintenance of the tissue volume at the pontic level, microsurgery is a solution of choice for the pre-prosthetic development. Indeed, periodontal plastic surgery allows to answer the problem of the osteo-mucosal defect by improving the periodontal biotype by tissue thickening and thus ensures an optimal aesthetic integration of the pontic. The author presents a clinical case associating the realization of a dento-supported bridge with a buried connective graft by tunneling technique in place of a resorbed ridge in a patient who lost an anterior tooth following a trauma. The evolution of the case is studied over one year.
