Scellements des puits et sillons dans l'intervention a minima : le point en 2020

Abstract : The goal of minimally invasive dentistry is the preservation of dental tissue. It is applied by the implementation of prophylactic methods and the least possible dilapidating procedures of intervention. The sealants of pits and fissures perfectly illustrate this concept of minimal intervention and can be both prophylactic and therapeutic. The first part of the document presents the techniques of evaluation and diagnosis by the application of a rigorous methodology allowed by the presence of modern diagnostic tools. The second part of this document describes the sealants biomaterials that can be used and the different treatment methods according to the ICDAS score established during the diagnosis.
