Méthodes d'éviction et de conditionnement du fond carieux dans le traitement de caries juxta pulpaires

Abstract : The carious disease, the most widespread chronic disease in the world, progresses in the pulpal direction. Proper management of deep caries and possible symptoms can prevent the development of irreversible pulpal pathology requiring endodontic root canal treatment. The treatment of deep caries is a therapy requiring meticulousness and thoughtfulness in order to ensure the durability of the restoration and optimal protection of the pulpal organ to preserve its vitality. The aim of this work is to present the different therapeutic weapons available for the practitioner in order to treat these deep carious lesions and preserve pulpal vitality. After having defined the etiology of the decay, its histology, its classification methods and detection techniques, we will focus more in detail on the different biomaterials for the preservation of pulpal vitality, decay eviction techniques and finally the different techniques for conditioning the carious floor.
