Quand les difficultés d’attention chez un enfant altèrent sa motivation : quelles stratégies l’enseignant peut-il utiliser pour aider l’élève à entrer et à s’investir dans les apprentissages ?

Abstract : In their daily teaching, the teacher has to take into account the diversity and singularities of each student. Students with attention-deficit are among those who question their teaching practices. First, we need to compare the students’ attention deficit with their motivation and their learning. Then, this work will bring to teachers some guidelines on how to facilitate students to start learning. Based on daily monitoring in a research diary of one student with attention-disorder, we will explore the importance of the teacher-student relationship, the acknowledgment of emotions, feedback given to the student, and the use of learning tricks. Do these guidelines allow students to start learning? How do they work? Answers will be brought in this study.
