L'EPS, un moyen pour motiver les élèves à travers la construction d'un projet d'action : une illustration en course de durée avec une classe de CM1-CM2

Abstract : Multiple studies have so far revealed the beneficial effets of physical activity on our body. From the early years of life it is important to teach pupils to take care of their health through regular physical activity. One of the current challenges of a primary school teacher is to develop a taste for this practice among students. The programme of action then emerges as a possibility to motivate them to engage in action. The problematic retained for the present study is the following: does reflection on the programme of action enable a motivated commitment by the student? We are explore whether the development of a programme of action in Sports and Physical Education would enable a motivated commitment by the student. For this we compare the evolution of motivation in Sports and Physical Education during the sequence by means of three dimensions: the external regulation, the intrinsic motivation and the satisfaction of the need for autonomy.
