Comment amener les élèves à se questionner sur l’évolution de l’école d’autrefois à aujourd’hui au cycle 2 ?

Abstract : To teach history is to teach a living and complex science. The contribution of new sources calls into question facts that were considered accepted. Therefore, it is important to poses a challenge for the traces of the past. History is a complex science in perpetual renewal. Students must accept the combination of contradictions to achieve an outdated vision. Developing complex thinking can help overcome this. Students must confront the sources of the past and unite the contradictions to arrive at an outdated vision. Thanks to the testimonies of their family members, students can project themselves into the past in order to confront it with the present. Moreover, the debate makes it possible to bring about interactions between them to build their knowledge. Ultimately, practicing this modality will develop in students, complex thinking for a better understanding of history. This work made it possible to promote historical questioning with students from third and fourth grade.
