Étude de la viabilité du projet LAST (lieu d’Accompagnement pour une Santé sans Tabac) auprès des médecins généralistes en Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Abstract : Introduction: the LAST project for Place of Support for Tobacco-Free Health stems the national tobacco control program 2018-2022, in order to promote prevention, develop and organize support networks, fight against social and territorial inequalities by relying on social marketing and recourse to professionals. We were interested in the brakes and levers to this interventional project with general practitioners. Method: a qualitative study of the viability of the LAST project according to Chen's criteria (accessibility, adaptability, utility, feasibility) by semi-structured interviews with general practitioners in the pilot territory of the Arcachon catchment area. The analysis was done by grounded theorizing. Results: nine doctors were registered between March and December 2020. The website and the presentation to the office of the project allow its accessibility, the distribution remains to be reinforced via the website and social marketing. Multidisciplinary work, the harmonization of practices, prevention, make it an adapted project, the use of local networks close to the patient is more popular than the resource centers. Responding to the need for physician training makes it a worthwhile project. Method 5A and the presence of tools make the project feasible, the quality of the tools and their use should be optimized. Conclusion: the LAST project is viable and extendable to New Aquitaine according to the pilot study carried out on the Arcachon catchment area by strengthening dissemination and local networks.
