Les écrans et la vie familiale : rôles de la psychomotricité dans l'accompagnement des enfants de 0 à 6 ans et de leur famille dans la gestion des écrans

Abstract : Since a few years, many health professionals meet a new children profile in their consultations. The screen time of these children is very important et and they have symptoms of language delay, retarded psychomotor development, attentional deficit (not exhaustive). Today, no scientific study has proved a causal link between children screen exposure and appearance of disorders. Then, as a psychomotor therapist, what can we do for these children and their families when we meet a similar situation in our clinical practice ? I tried to answer this question by presenting the part of psychomotricity with these people. He can act in prevention of the risks related to an overexposure because he knows the child needs for a good psychomotor development. He can also propose a support in case of difficulties with this subject. By his skills in parental guidance, and by the psychomotor sessions he can propose, the psychomotor therapist is an health professional involved in support and management of these increasingly common cases.
