Généralisation de la voix féminisée ou masculinisée chez les personnes transgenres : réalisation d'un protocole

Abstract : During a medical transition, transgender people may need to work with a speech and language therapist for a vocal feminization or masculinization. This process is very long, inside the SLT’s room, but also in everyday life. During this work, we asked ourselves if transgender people could generalize easily the gains of the work with their SLTs. A preliminary study with 28 SLTs showed a lack of tools optimizing the generalization; therefore, we created OutVoice, a protocol based on relaxation and made for SLTs who follow transgender people. The final purpose of OutVoice is to improve generalization for transgender people and to reduce the stress when it comes to using their voice.
