La maladie d'Alzheimer : suite au déremboursement des traitements symptomatiques, la prise en charge actuelle et les perspectives d'avenir

Abstract : Alzheimer disease now affects 35 million people around the world and 1.3 million people in France. But if we take into account the caregivers the pathology concerns more people. This disease is a major health issue. In 2018 anti-alzheimer drugs have been reimbursed in France. Now non drug management is promoted. But the effectiveness of this strategy has not been demonstrated. Patients and caregivers are still waiting for the discovery of an effective treatment. The development of immunotherapies is most advanced. It’s consist of the removal of amyloid and pathologic Tau protein. Other treaments are currently being developped and some are promising. An effective new drug may be among them.
