Gestion de l'hétérogénéité des élèves dans une classe ordinaire

Abstract : The teacher has to face today a growing heterogeneity in his / her every day teaching practices. Each child is obviously different from the others because of his background, his family behaviours, his own education, his abilities and his personal knowledge. The main purpose of the National educational system is to lead all the pupils, whoever they are and whatever their social background, to success. To do so, all the needs of all the pupils have to be considered, both individually and collectively, for an individual and collective achievement ( for all of them and each of them). A class with a large number of individuals will of course be heterogeneous. Thus, the teacher will have to use the various means of teaching, pedagogies and tools offered to him / her to carry on a pedagogy adapted to the heterogeneity of the pupils. He will have to adapt his pedagogy to his pupils's special needs as much as possible. Chosing the Adaptive dimension appears to be the best and the most satisfying way to cope with children's heterogeneity and enable everyone's achievement in their studies. It enables the teacher to appreciate any child's abililities and difficulties and adapt his / her pedagogy at best.
