La frontière peut-elle être un espace d’engendrement ?

Abstract : Line of separation, often understood by its geopolitical definition as a limit of states, the border is also a zone of friction, a space if it is approached in the field of human relations. Nothing separates more than a border and yet from this infra-thin space are born encounters, an idea of a passage that I explore through my thought and my plastic work. From the two worlds that develop on either side of this dividing line, this front line, a space of porosity is created. A part of one is in the other. My problem arises from this tension. I approach the border as a space of generation, an enlargement of perception. To explore this narrow passage made of the invisible, of energy, of electricity, of mirages, of instabilities, of the ephemeral, I made the plastic choice of superposition by transparency. Layers, like strata in geology, whether of paint, light, plastic film, skin, glass, canvas, or body are porous. The superposition by transparency allows the revelation, the intimacy, the meeting and much more... the unheard of, the unheard of the other, the unheard of oneself.
