Abstract : Multiple disabilities is due to early brain damage. It is characterized by the presence of motor disorders and severe or profunf intellectual disability that impede the child’s good developpement.
However, people with multiple disabilities have abitlities that a psychomotor assessment throught standardized tests doesn’t allow bring out. It’s necessary to put in place a specific system and tools for this population. That’s why I’ve developed an observation grid which take into account and highlight patient abilities and his psychomotor organization.
This work exposes the usefulness but also the limits of my tool with two children with multiple disabilities in an Institute of Motor Education. It also deals with my reflections around of psychometrician mindset posture in this environment and in a particular context of Covid 19.
