La réappropriation d’un corps soumis à la double peine : travail de restructuration de l’unité psychocorporelle avec des personnes détenues souffrant de troubles psychotiques

Abstract : Prison psychiatry is trying to respond to the growing need for care in mental illness encountered in detention. UHSA proposes to extract temporarily from prison these incarcerated subjects in psychological suffering, to allow them to be interned full-time. It is within this framework that I meet a multitude of people who carry within them the psycho-corporal repercussions of confinement mixed with those of psychotic illness. In the course of these encounters, rich in feelings, I am confronted with the double jeopardy of the psycho-corporal unity that these people experience. Detained by Justice and dismantled by the psychotic disorder, the body seems to be dispossessed of the subject that inhabits it.
This paper attempts to shed light on this question through my encounters with these patients, particularly with Mr N. and Mr K. Psychomotor therapy proposes to provide some answers by accompanying the subject towards the reappropriation of his body, in this singular psychiatric-prison context.
