Évaluation des facteurs de risques psychosociaux selon le questionnaire de Karasek, chez les sages-femmes du centre hospitalier Métropole de Savoie

Abstract : Objectives: Evaluation of psychosocial risk factors among midwives at the Savoie Metropolitan Hospital Center (CHMS) using the Karasek questionnaire, and secondly, analysis of the difference in exposure to psychosocial risk factors according to the midwife's practice context. Materials and methods: Observational and exploratory epidemiological study, cross-sectional, uni-centric, descriptive, with all the midwives of the CHMS maternity hospital, using the Karasek questionnaire. Results: Of the 37 usable responses, psychological demand was high for all midwives, decision latitude was high for 65% of midwives and social support was low for 62% of midwives. Thirteen midwives were in a tense work situation, including 8 in an iso strain situation (tense work and low social support). The study showed no statistically significant difference in exposure. Conclusion: The majority of midwives were in a situation that was not deleterious to their health. However, it is important to look at those in high-stress work situations and to know what measures could be put in place to improve their work environments.
