Évaluation des performances diagnostiques de l’échocardiographie fœtale dans le réseau CPDPN arc alpin de 2015 à 2019

Abstract : Objectives: The main objective was to estimate the diagnostic accuracy of fetal echocardiography for the main diagnosis of heart disease, according to the ASS-CHD classification, made by the cardio-pediatricians of the Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire Grenoble Alpes, in pregnant women referred between 2015 and 2019. Methods: This was a descriptive, retrospective and single-center study. 675 pregnant women, who have had a fetal echocardiography were included. The main outcome measure was the intrinsic characteristics (sensitivity and specificity) of the fetal echocardiography for the main diagnosis of heart disease according to the ACC-CHD classification. Results: The sensitivity of the fetal echocardiography for the primary diagnosis of heart disease was 91.2% and the specificity was 97.4% with very good agreement (kappa coefficient: 0.93) between the estimate of prenatal and postnatal prognosis. Conclusion: Within the Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire Grenoble Alpes, the accuracy of the echocardiographic diagnosis of congenital heart disease carried out by pediatricians is excellent and the prognosis estimate is reliable.
