Étude qualitative sur les générateurs de stress des sapeurs-pompiers de Les Échelles, Grenoble et Bourgoin-Jallieu, en fonction du contexte, lors de la prise en charge d'une femme enceinte, analysée selon le modèle de Lazarus

Abstract : Objective: The purpose of this study was to highlight the possible stressful factors for firefighters when caring for a pregnant woman. Method: Semi-structured individual interviews were carried out with the rescuers, included on a voluntary basis. These interviews were conducted until the data saturation (n = 7). The qualitative analysis of the interviews was carried out thematically using the Lazarus stress’s model. Results: This study showed the various possible stressors, one of the most important of which is the feeling of lack of training and habituation as well as the impact of the cultural and gender difference with the victim. The patient's environment and behavior as well as that of those around her can also noted as being anxious. Conclusion: Most of the results of our study are consistent with the existing literature. Conducting a quantitative study to identify the impact of these factors could complete this work.
