L’information sur la sexualité pendant la grossesse dans le cadre d’un suivi de grossesse

Abstract : Objectives: The main objective is to define the number of women who have had information about their sexuality during pregnancy. The secondary objectives are to determine the nature of the information given to women, and to determine whether women are information seekers. Methods: This study is declarative, descriptive monocentric carried out at the Centre Hospitalier Grenoble Alpes Voiron. The data was collected using questionnaires distributed to women in the postpartum ward, between November 30 2020 and February 28, 2021. Results: One hundred and fifty-one women were included in our study. Thirty-eight (25.2%) received information about their sexuality during pregnancy. Most of women were informed during birth preparation, and in 66.7% of the cases liberal midwives took the initiative to bring up the subject. The spouse was present in only 31.6% of the cases. The most discussed themes were the false representations as well as the lack of desire, without the use of adapted support. The midwife is described as the privileged health professional. According to 84.8% of women this topic should be addressed systematically, and the majority said they wanted it to be addressed in the third month of pregnancy. Conclusion: Women are poorly informed on this subject although they ask for information. The midwife seems to be the most suitable professional for this delivery of information.
