Abstract : Cleft lips-alveolar-palatal have an incidence of approximately impacted 1 in 700 births in France. It is the most frequently encountered congenital malformation of the face in the world. The management of the after-effects of a labio-alveolar-palatal cleft is ensured by a multidisciplinary team.Through a literature search, the interests of early care by the dentist are addressed. This work concerns patients whose age is less than 6 years old. The identification of oral risk factors allows the implementation of adapted therapeutic strategies. Prevention, minimal interception and oral management techniques are the tools available to dentists. The main work focuses on a quantitative survey of the knowledge, initial training and care of dentists in France. The aim of the latter is to know the number of practitioners able to provide this early care.
