La clinique du discontinu : la psychomotricité au contact de l’adolescence et de la psychose

Abstract : Adolescence is a period of great bodily, psychic, relational and representational upheavals and can be a real breach in the existence of those whose identity and affective foundations are unsteady. The developmental rupture can be filled by psychotic pathology, giving an illusion of continuity, confining the teenager in a perpetual atemporal. Self-injury seems to be a preferred means of tempting to resolve internal conflict or to maintain control over what escapes them. The psychomotor approach brings a body-mind interpretation of this double temporality, and a containing framework for a therapeutic relationship to unfold. This work is the narration of my internship in a day center, of my relationship with Estelle, of my reflections, my doubts, my assumptions, and of the various theories that support the thoughts around those feelings.
