Quantification des modifications de la marche, après arthrorise sous talienne par mise en place d’un implant „PitStop“ dans le sinus du tarse chez des enfants porteurs d’un pied plat valgus idiopathique : étude préliminaire

Abstract : Idiopathic valgus flatfoot is a common deformity of the foot in children under the age of 7. The deformity is manifested by an excessive valgus of the heel, an abduction of the forefoot on the hindfoot associated with a relative equinus of the hindfoot with a frequent shortness of the triceps which leads to a valgus tilt of the calcaneus. It is mostly asymptomatic. However, it can be symptomatic and therefore require specialized treatment. Treatment by plantar orthoses can be put in place, if the symptomatology and the collapse worsen, a surgical treatment by subtalar arthroplasty can be recommended. This consists of placing an implant in the sinus of the tarsus, allowing the definitive correction of the deformity. This is a very common, simple and effective procedure. The deformity is three-dimensional and does not only involve the foot but also the other segments of the lower limb, a dynamic analysis in gait analysis is desirable to better understand its clinical consequences. In our descriptive study, we studied the changes observed in gait analysis in postoperative, in 8 patients, on the translation of the COP, the angular changes at the level of the ankles and knees and the power involved by the ankles during the gait.
