Cerclage à chaud du col utérin : revue de littérature et analyse d’une série de cas

Abstract : Objective: To produce a comprehensive assessment of practice regarding emergency cerclage in our level three maternity unit at Grenoble, in light of international litterature. Methods: It was a descriptive, retrospective monocentric study including 15 cases of emergency cerclage at the level three maternity unit of the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital between January 2018 and July 2021. Results: Median cerclage to delivery interval was 32,5 days (0-142). The two main maternal adverse events were chorioamnionitis (23,1%) and PROM (69,2%, n=9/13 with 1 occuring during surgery). Fetal survival rate was 53,3%. Conclusion: Our results seems satisfactory in light of international litterature, and should allow us to provide better information to mothers that could benefit from an emergency cerclage, as well as suggest ways of improvement of our current practices.
