Fiabilité des outils d'évaluation de la proprioception chez les patients victimes d'un accident vasculaire cérébral

Abstract : Background: Stroke is a frequent pathology and is increasing with increasing longevity. It induces, in addition to motor disorders and among the sensory disorders, disorders of proprioceptive sensitivity, which concerns the ability to locate one's body in space. It has been proven that a good motor rehabilitation requires a good proprioceptive rehabilitation, it is therefore necessary to correctly evaluate these deficits during the different assessments. This is only possible if reliable tools are available. Objective: Review the current literature about the reliability of proprioception tests for the post-stroke subject. Method: Studies investigating the clinimetric properties of tools assessing proprioception in poststroke subjects were searched. 8 databases were investigated using equations approved by professional researchers. The methodological quality of these studies was assessed by the QAREL scale and duplicate data extraction was performed. Results: Some tools seem to obtain a very good intra and inter-rater reliability such as the Fugl-Meyer Assessment proprioception part and the KINARM, among the 10 tools studied. Conclusion: To date, there are few studies on the subject, and those that do exist suffer from poor methodological quality, but these studies are rather recent, so we can assume that there is a possible awareness. It would be relevant to propose more studies on Fugl-Meyer Assessment, which seem to stand out for a clinical use.
